Demo Description
Figurative painting can tend to place fear into many artists’ hearts. I’ve known several accomplished painters that have never even tried to tackle this subject.
Join me as I take you step by step through my process in painting the simplified figure. From supplies and coming up with a plan, all the way to the finishing touches. This demonstration will be shown in real time. No time lapse’s, so you’ll be able to paint along if you wish.
Simplifying this complicated subject allows me to be expressive. Emotive. Allowing the viewer to participate in my joy in painting.

CANVAS- I will use a toned cotton or linen panel to demonstrate (my favored panels
are RayMar, and SourceTek) I’ll discuss less expensive options during my
demonstration.
COLOR PALETTE- (favored makers- Winsor&Newton, Michael Harding, Gamblin)
