Workshop Description

This class will focus on painting boats and harbors through the use of various water based mediums such as gouache, acrylic, acryla gouache and watercolor (oil based mediums are also applicable). Mike will do his demos in acryla gouache.

In this three week workshop, Mike will demonstrate how to capture a simplified and painterly look to boats and how to capture the look and feel of water such as transparency, translucency, luminosity, specularity and shine.
