Workshop Description
Join us for a transformative three-week workshop on inspiring creativity through pilgrimage. Each session invites participants to explore the concept of pilgrimage as a personal journey for inspiration. We'll map our creative inspirations, embark on individual pilgrimage trips, and reflect on our experiences. Through sharing, discussion, and creative exercises, you’ll deepen your connection to places and insights that ignite your creativity, culminating in a celebration of your unique journeys.
Workshop Outline
Week 1: Defining Your Creative Pilgrimage
Participants will explore the concept of creative pilgrimage, sharing personal inspirations and mapping significant places and experiences that influence their creativity. They will plan a local pilgrimage, selecting a meaningful site to visit.
Week 2: Embarking on Your Pilgrimage
This week focuses on sharing personal manifestos and planning individual pilgrimage trips. Participants will discuss their intentions and prepare for their visits, emphasizing reflection and documentation of their experiences.
Week 3: Weaving Your Pilgrimage Narrative
In the final week, participants will share insights from their pilgrimage experiences and reflect on common themes. They will create a visual or written piece to represent their journeys and discuss how to integrate these insights into their ongoing creative practices.
