Course Description
We will be focusing on painting landscapes and cityscapes from photography in this gouache focused class. Starting with basics of using gouache as our medium we will cover composition, color and value mixing and different techniques of application of this free-flowing medium. We will discuss and complete a series of projects to focus our attention on considering relationships of shapes and color in painting. We will cultivate an inspiring process that will aid your painting practice and give you a solid foundation to rely on as you advance on your painting journey.
