Workshop Description
In this workshop we will reference the colour wheel as we create painterly florals. It will be an exploration of the language of colour and value! Discovering joy in their mystery, and the excitement of the moment they bring our inspirations to life on the canvas.
Workshop Outline
Week 1 -
Floral Studies in black &white.
Floral Studies in black & white plus 1 colour (monochromatic).
Floral Studies with complimentary colours.
Week 2 -
Floral Studies with analogous colours.
Floral Studies with split-complementary colours.
Floral Studies with primary colours.
Week 3 -
Putting it all together.
Painting on canvas with double primary colours.
