Course Description

In this course we will work through our capacity to create oil painting portraits using our own creative language to tell a unique story. The importance of working through references and not to be a slave of them is something primary to being a painter who wants to make art with a specific voice. You, as an artist, have a mission and it is to “find you” and discover what art you want to make.

I am going to show you a method where to develop clearly how to express your own voice starting with a drawing on paper and transferring it to the canvas to paint it in oil using a step by step really easy to learn.

Course Outline

Presentation of each one. Brain storming of sketches. The drawing of the painting in paper using a photo reference.
